On Tuesday December 5th, 2023, 3 District (Welland/Pelham) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended a residence in the area of Alberta Street and Avon Street, in the City of Welland in regard to a disturbance call.

Investigation revealed a male was engaged in an argument with a female and a male at this location.  The suspect had a rifle in his hand as he was arguing with the two victims. The male victim approached the suspect and requested he put the firearm down. The… Read more…

Since July of 2023, members of the Major Drugs and Guns Unit commenced an investigation into a male suspect in relation to the distribution of narcotics throughout the Region of Niagara.  As a result of the investigation the Major Drugs and Gangs unit, were able to identify a male suspect exhibiting behaviour indicative of trafficking.  Read more…

On December 2, 2023, at approximately 8:45pm, a member of 3 District (Welland/Pelham) Detective Office observed a red Hyundai being operated by a suspended driver in the area of Duncan Street and Lasalle Street, in the City of Welland.
