A former teacher from Laval has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of minors, with police suspecting there may be more victims.
According to authorities, the incidents occurred in the 1980s when the accused, who was a teacher at the time, allegedly sexually assaulted several minors. The victims were reportedly students at the school where the accused taught.
The accused, whose name has not been released, was arrested on February 25 and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching. He has since been released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 22.
