However, she is constantly belittled and mistreated by her cruel parents and the tyrannical headmistress of her school, Miss Trunchbull. Despite these challenges, Matilda discovers she has the power to stand up for herself and those around her, with the help of her kind teacher Miss Honey.
The production is directed by Ursuline College Chatham’s drama teacher, Mrs. Smith, who has been working tirelessly with the students to bring this magical story to life on stage.
