Callander is gearing up for an exciting event that will showcase the town’s public works projects. On September 18th, the Public Works Department will be hosting an open house at the Callander Community Centre from 10am to 2pm.
This event is a great opportunity for residents to learn more about the various public works initiatives that are currently underway in Callander. The open house will feature interactive displays, equipment demonstrations, and informative presentations.
One of the main highlights of the event will be the unveiling of the new Public Works logo. This logo was designed by a local artist and will represent the department’s commitment to serving the community.
In addition to the displays and demonstrations, there will also be a chance for residents to speak with Public Works staff and ask any questions they may have about ongoing projects or future plans. This is a valuable opportunity for community members to engage with the department and provide feedback.
Mayor Robb Noon and members of council will also be in attendance to show their support for the Public Works Department and its important role in maintaining the town’s infrastructure.
The open house is not only a chance for residents to learn more about the work being done by the Public Works Department, but also to gain a better understanding of the importance of these projects for the community. It is a great opportunity for the department to showcase their hard work and dedication to keeping Callander running smoothly.
So mark your calendars for September 18th and come out to the Callander Community Centre to support the Public Works Department and learn more about the vital role they play in our town. We look forward to seeing you there!
