This will be the first time that Montreal has hosted a stop on the Red Bull Cliff Diving Series, which has been running since 2009. The series features some of the world’s best cliff divers, who perform jaw-dropping dives from heights of up to 27 meters.
The event will showcase both men’s and women’s competitions, with 24 athletes from 18 different countries competing for the top spot. Among them will be Canadian diver Lysanne Richard, who is currently ranked third in the women’s standings.
