Kelowna, BC – Velocity Truck Centres, a leading truck dealership in Western Canada, has officially broken ground on their new facility located on Kelowna International Airport land. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 15th, and was attended by local officials, business leaders, and members of the community.
The new facility, which is set to open in the fall of 2022, will be a state-of-the-art dealership and service center for commercial trucks and trailers. It will feature a 30,000 square foot building, including a 10,000 square foot parts warehouse and a 20,000 square foot service shop. The dealership will also have a large outdoor display area for new and used trucks.
According to Velocity Truck Centres President and CEO, Greg Stewart, the new facility will allow the company to better serve their customers in the Okanagan region. “We are excited to expand our presence in Kelowna and provide our customers with a modern and convenient location for all their trucking needs,” said Stewart.
