She is best known for creating the iconic image of President Franklin D. Roosevelt on the dime, as well as her powerful sculptures that captured the essence of the human form.
The play, written by award-winning playwright and director, Lisa Codrington, delves into Burke’s personal and professional journey, highlighting her struggles and triumphs. It also showcases her unique artistic process and the inspiration behind her creations.
