The Hamilton-Niagara Chapter of the Insurance Institute of Ontario (IIO) recently hosted their annual Fall Euchre Social, bringing together insurance professionals for an evening of networking and friendly competition.
Held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Hamilton, the event saw a great turnout with over 50 attendees from various insurance companies and organizations. The evening began with a warm welcome from the IIO Hamilton-Niagara Chapter President, followed by a brief introduction of the game rules for those who were new to Euchre.
As the games began, the room was filled with laughter and friendly banter as players strategized and tried to outsmart their opponents. The atmosphere was lively and competitive, with everyone vying for the top spot.
In between games, attendees had the opportunity to mingle and connect with fellow insurance professionals, making new connections and strengthening existing ones. The event provided a great platform for individuals to expand their professional network and exchange industry insights.
The Euchre Social also featured a raffle draw, with prizes generously donated by local businesses and insurance companies. The lucky winners walked away with gift baskets, gift cards, and other exciting prizes.
The evening concluded with a delicious dinner and the announcement of the top three Euchre players. The first-place winner received a trophy and bragging rights, while the second and third-place winners received gift cards.
The IIO Hamilton-Niagara Chapter Fall Euchre Social was a huge success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the organizing committee and the support of the attendees. It provided a fun and relaxed environment for insurance professionals to come together and build relationships outside of the workplace.
The IIO Hamilton-Niagara Chapter looks forward to hosting more events in the future, bringing together the insurance community and promoting professional development and networking opportunities.
