The Winnipeg Jets have officially released their schedule for the first round of the playoffs, much to the excitement of fans and players alike.
The Jets will be facing off against the Edmonton Oilers in a best-of-seven series, with the first game taking place on Wednesday, May 19 at 8:00 PM CST. The series will continue with games on Friday, May 21 at 8:00 PM CST and Sunday, May 23 at 6:30 PM CST.
If necessary, the remaining games will be played on Monday, May 24, Wednesday, May 26, Friday, May 28, and Sunday, May 30. All games will be held at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg.
This will be the first time the Jets and Oilers have met in the playoffs since 1990, when the Jets were still based in the city of Edmonton. The Jets finished the regular season with a record of 30-23-3, securing the third seed in the North Division.
Fans are eagerly anticipating this matchup, as both teams have had strong performances throughout the season. The Jets will be looking to continue their momentum and make a deep run in the playoffs, while the Oilers will be determined to advance to the next round.

Tickets for the playoff games will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, May 18 at 10:00 AM CST. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, capacity will be limited to 2,500 fans per game.
