A pedestrian was struck by a train in Port Moody, according to local police.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at the intersection of Murray Street and Ioco Road. The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was reportedly walking on the tracks when the train approached.
Emergency services were immediately called to the scene and the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
