A suspect has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to a fatal stabbing in White Rock, British Columbia.
According to police, the incident occurred on April 5th at a residence on the 900 block of Ash Street. The victim, a 57-year-old man, was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
After an investigation by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), a suspect was identified and arrested on April 7th. The suspect, a 25-year-old man, has now been charged with second-degree murder.
The victim and the suspect were known to each other, and the incident is believed to be an isolated incident with no risk to the public.
The suspect remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on April 14th.
IHIT is continuing to gather evidence and is asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
