After being temporarily closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, two London Drugs stores in Calgary have reopened their doors to the public.
The two locations, one in the community of Brentwood and the other in the community of Shawnessy, have implemented strict safety measures to ensure the well-being of both customers and staff.
London Drugs spokesperson, Clint Mahlman, stated that the decision to reopen these stores was made after careful consideration and consultation with local health authorities.
“We understand the importance of providing essential services to our community, especially during these challenging times,” said Mahlman.
The stores have implemented enhanced cleaning protocols, including frequent disinfection of high-touch areas and providing hand sanitizer for customers. In addition, all staff members are required to wear masks and practice physical distancing.
“We want our customers to feel safe and comfortable while shopping at our stores,” said Mahlman. “We are committed to following all recommended guidelines to ensure a safe shopping experience for everyone.”
London Drugs has also introduced a new curbside pickup service for customers who prefer to shop from the comfort of their own homes. This service allows customers to place their orders online and pick them up at the store without having to enter the building.
“We are constantly adapting to the changing needs of our customers and finding ways to make their shopping experience as convenient and safe as possible,” said Mahlman.
The reopening of these two London Drugs stores is a positive sign for the community and a step towards returning to a sense of normalcy. The company remains committed to providing essential services to the community while prioritizing the health and safety of all individuals.
Customers are encouraged to visit the London Drugs website for more information on store hours and safety protocols.
