Lethbridge Police are on the hunt for suspects involved in a recent street robbery.
According to authorities, the incident took place on Tuesday evening in the 200 block of 13 Street North. The victim reported being approached by two individuals who demanded money and personal belongings. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was not physically harmed during the robbery, but was understandably shaken by the ordeal.
Police have released descriptions of the suspects in hopes of gathering more information from the public. The first suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’10” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black baseball cap at the time of the incident. The second suspect is described as a Caucasian female, approximately 5’6″ tall with a medium build. She was wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and a black baseball cap.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward and contact the Lethbridge Police Service. They also remind the public to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings, especially when walking alone at night.
