A water rescue in Winnipeg has left one person in critical condition, according to authorities.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, after reports of a person in distress in the water near the Louise Bridge.
Upon arrival, firefighters and paramedics worked together to rescue the individual from the water. The person was then transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
