Calgary police seek suspect wanted for sexual assault

Calgary Police are currently on the lookout for a suspect wanted for sexual assault.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on March 27th at approximately 11:30 pm in the 100 block of 7 Avenue S.W. The victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking in the area when she was approached by a man who proceeded to sexually assault her.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 30s, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black baseball cap.

Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him. They are also urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed anything suspicious to come forward.

In a statement, Staff Sergeant Jodi Gach stated, “We take all reports of sexual assault very seriously and are actively investigating this incident. We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect and bringing him to justice.”

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking for the public’s cooperation in bringing the suspect to justice.
