A tragic two-vehicle crash in Wolfville Ridge has claimed the life of a Delhaven man.
According to the RCMP, the collision occurred on Highway 1 at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The vehicles involved were a pickup truck and a sedan.
The driver of the sedan, a 45-year-old man from Delhaven, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, a 32-year-old man from Wolfville, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but initial reports suggest that the pickup truck crossed the center line and collided with the sedan.
The highway was closed for several hours as emergency crews responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. It has since reopened.
