Two motorcyclists were critically injured in a collision in Oshawa on Saturday evening.
According to Durham Regional Police, the incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Simcoe Street North and Beatrice Street East.
The two motorcyclists were travelling southbound on Simcoe Street North when they collided with a vehicle turning left onto Beatrice Street East.
Both motorcyclists were ejected from their bikes and sustained serious injuries. They were transported to a trauma centre in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Police have not released any information about the identities of those involved in the collision.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene. It has since reopened.
