A terrifying incident occurred in Saskatoon on Monday evening when a car crashed into an apartment building, leaving a family in shock and their home severely damaged.
According to witnesses, the car was “half inside” the children’s room, causing extensive damage to the building and leaving debris scattered across the scene. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly attempting to park when they lost control and crashed into the building.
The family, who wishes to remain anonymous, was inside their apartment at the time of the incident. They described the sound of the crash as “deafening” and immediately rushed to check on their children. Thankfully, no one was injured in the accident.
The apartment building, located on the 100 block of Avenue O South, sustained significant damage to the exterior and interior walls. The car was eventually removed from the building by emergency crews, but the extent of the damage is still being assessed.
