Calgary Transit doing work on Blue and Red lines over long weekend

Calgary Transit has announced that they will be conducting maintenance work on the Blue and Red lines over the upcoming long weekend. This news comes as a reminder to commuters to plan their travels accordingly.

According to Calgary Transit, the work will begin on Friday, April 30 at 10 p.m. and will continue until Monday, May 3 at 1 a.m. During this time, trains will not be running on the Blue and Red lines between the City Hall and Bridgeland/Memorial stations. Shuttle buses will be available to transport passengers between these stations.

In addition, Calgary Transit has announced that they will be offering free rides on all CTrain and bus routes on Monday, May 3 in celebration of International Workers’ Day. This is a gesture of appreciation for essential workers who have been keeping the city running during the pandemic.
