Police are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in Mission, British Columbia, leaving a fisherman injured.
According to authorities, the incident took place on Sunday afternoon at the Fraser River near the Mission Bridge. The victim, a 45-year-old man, was fishing when he was approached by an unknown suspect who proceeded to stab him.
The victim was able to make his way to a nearby business where he received medical attention before being transported to the hospital. His injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.
The suspect fled the scene and has yet to be apprehended. Police are currently searching for the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The motive behind the attack is still unknown and police are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident.
