Police are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the Spence neighbourhood of Winnipeg.
According to authorities, officers were called to the area of Langside Street and Sargent Avenue on Sunday evening for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Dwayne Lavallee, a resident of Winnipeg. His death has been ruled a homicide by the Winnipeg Police Service.
At this time, no suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting. However, police are asking anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
