Police investigating Spence neighbourhood homicide

Police are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the Spence neighbourhood of Winnipeg.

According to authorities, officers were called to the area of Langside Street and Sargent Avenue on Sunday evening for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Dwayne Lavallee, a resident of Winnipeg. His death has been ruled a homicide by the Winnipeg Police Service.
