Delta police seek witnesses to suspicious fire

Delta Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a suspicious fire that occurred on Saturday night.

According to authorities, the fire broke out at a residence on the 11000 block of 80th Avenue in Delta around 10:30 p.m. on April 17th. The Delta Fire Department responded to the scene and was able to quickly extinguish the flames.

No one was injured in the fire, but the residence sustained significant damage. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but police are treating it as suspicious.

In an effort to gather more information about the incident, Delta Police are asking any witnesses or individuals with relevant information to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area leading up to the fire.
