Teen missing from Portage la Prairie: RCMP

A teenage girl has gone missing from Portage la Prairie, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

The 16-year-old, whose name has not been released, was last seen on April 14 at around 9:30 p.m. in the area of 3rd Street NW and Royal Road North.

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating the missing teen. She is described as Indigenous, 5’5″ tall, with a slim build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and black shoes.

Police say they are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Portage la Prairie RCMP at 204-857-4445 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The RCMP is also reminding the public that any information provided to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and could lead to a cash reward if it helps locate the missing teen.
