According to police, the two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle near the intersection of 107 Avenue and 101 Street around 8:30 p.m. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported both pedestrians to the hospital. Sadly, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries while the other remains in critical condition.

The identities of the victims have not been released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
