Winnipeg, MB – Notre Dame Avenue was temporarily closed on Tuesday afternoon due to a police incident.
According to reports, the closure was in effect between Isabel Street and King Street. The Winnipeg Police Service advised drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
The incident, which occurred around 2:30 p.m., involved a heavy police presence and a large portion of the street was blocked off with police tape.
