Police seek witnesses to Lloydminster home invasion that injured two

Police are seeking witnesses to a recent home invasion in Lloydminster that left two individuals injured.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on the evening of May 1st at a residence on 51st Avenue. The victims, a man and a woman, were reportedly attacked by two suspects who forced their way into the home.

The suspects, described as two men wearing dark clothing and masks, allegedly assaulted the victims with a weapon before fleeing the scene. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are now asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area around the time of the home invasion.

In a statement, Lloydminster RCMP Sgt. Ryan How said, “We are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything out of the ordinary in the area to contact us. Any information, no matter how small, could be crucial to our investigation.”

Authorities are also reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
