The winning numbers for the Lotto Max draw on Friday, June 14, 2024 have been announced, and one lucky ticket holder is now a multi-millionaire.
The winning numbers for the $70 million jackpot are 3, 8, 12, 18, 25, 36, and 49, with the bonus number being 7.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), the winning ticket was sold in Toronto, Ontario. The exact location of the purchase has not yet been revealed.
This is the second time this year that the Lotto Max jackpot has reached $70 million. The previous draw on June 7, 2024 also had a $70 million jackpot, which was won by a ticket holder in British Columbia.
In addition to the jackpot winner, there were also 10 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each up for grabs. The winning numbers for these prizes are 2, 9, 14, 21, 27, 33, 40, 44, 47, and 50.
The OLG has not yet announced if any of the Maxmillions prizes were claimed.
The next Lotto Max draw will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, with an estimated jackpot of $20 million.
Lotto Max is a nationwide lottery game in Canada, with draws taking place every Tuesday and Friday. Players must select seven numbers from 1 to 50, and the jackpot is won by matching all seven numbers.
The odds of winning the Lotto Max jackpot are approximately 1 in 33 million.
