Aaron Judge's early two-run blast powers Yankees past Blue Jays 8-1

New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge hit an early two-run home run, leading his team to an 8-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night.

The Yankees took an early lead in the first inning when Judge hit a two-run homer off Blue Jays’ pitcher Ross Stripling. This was Judge’s 14th home run of the season and his third in the last four games.

The Blue Jays were unable to catch up to the Yankees’ strong offense, with the exception of a solo home run by Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in the fourth inning. The Yankees’ pitching also played a crucial role in their victory, with starter Jordan Montgomery allowing only one run and four hits in six innings.

The Yankees continued to dominate throughout the game, with DJ LeMahieu hitting a two-run double in the fifth inning and Gary Sanchez adding a solo home run in the seventh. The Blue Jays’ bullpen struggled to contain the Yankees’ offense, allowing a total of eight runs on 12 hits.

This win marks the Yankees’ fourth consecutive victory and improves their record to 33-29, putting them in third place in the American League East division. The Blue Jays, on the other hand, fall to 30-29 and remain in fourth place in the division.

The Yankees will look to continue their winning streak as they face the Blue Jays again on Wednesday night.
