A man is being sought by authorities after multiple individuals were randomly assaulted in the Leslieville neighborhood on Canada Day.
According to Toronto police, the incidents occurred on July 1st between 9:30 pm and 11:30 pm in the area of Queen Street East and Logan Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and black running shoes.
Police say the man approached several people on the street and assaulted them before fleeing the scene. The victims sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation. They are also reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
In the meantime, increased patrols have been deployed in the area to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.
