A woman has tragically lost her life in southeast Edmonton after police responded to an assault call on Sunday evening.
According to the Edmonton Police Service, officers were called to a residence in the area of 38 Avenue and 34 Street at around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a woman in critical condition and immediately began providing medical assistance.
Despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The EPS Homicide Section has taken over the investigation and is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
