Police arrest suspect accused of taking photos of woman in changing room at Etobicoke store

Toronto police have arrested a suspect in connection with a disturbing incident at an Etobicoke store. The suspect is accused of taking photos of a woman in a changing room without her consent.

According to police, the incident occurred on May 25 at a store located in the area of The Queensway and Royal York Road. The victim reported that she was trying on clothes in a changing room when she noticed a cellphone being held over the partition. She immediately confronted the suspect and he fled the store.

After an investigation, police were able to identify and locate the suspect. On June 1, 27-year-old Michael Smith of Toronto was arrested and charged with voyeurism and mischief.

This incident serves as a reminder for individuals to always be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious behavior. It is also important for stores to have proper security measures in place to protect their customers’ privacy.
