West Ferris residents can look forward to a day of family-friendly activities this Saturday, as the community comes together for a day of fun.
The event, organized by the West Ferris Community Association, will take place at the West Ferris Arena from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free for all ages.
Attendees can expect a variety of activities, including a bouncy castle, face painting, and a petting zoo. There will also be a BBQ and refreshments available for purchase.
“We wanted to create an event that would bring families together and provide a fun day out for everyone,” said event organizer, Sarah Jones. “We have something for all ages, from young children to adults.”
In addition to the activities, there will also be a silent auction with proceeds going towards the West Ferris Community Association’s initiatives, such as community clean-up projects and youth programs.
“We are grateful for the support of our community and we hope to continue making a positive impact through our events and initiatives,” said Jones.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd, with many families already expressing their excitement and plans to attend.
“We are looking forward to spending the day with our kids and enjoying the activities,” said local resident, John Smith. “It’s great to see the community coming together for events like this.”
