A shocking case has emerged at a Catholic school in Welland, where an educational assistant has been accused of having an intimate relationship with a 14-year-old boy.
According to police, the accused, 29-year-old Sarah Smith, was employed at the school as an educational assistant and had been working closely with the victim. The alleged relationship between Smith and the student began in September 2020 and continued until February 2021.
