The body of a second missing boater has been found, according to Manitoba RCMP.

The search for the two missing boaters began on Saturday, when their boat capsized on Lake Winnipeg. One of the boaters, a 29-year-old man, was found and pronounced dead at the scene. The second boater, a 42-year-old man, remained missing.

After an extensive search involving multiple agencies, the body of the second boater was discovered on Monday afternoon. The identity of the boater has not been released at this time.

RCMP say that both boaters were not wearing life jackets at the time of the incident. They are reminding the public to always wear a life jacket while boating, as it can greatly increase chances of survival in the event of an accident.
