5 transported to hospital following collision: TFS

Five individuals were taken to the hospital after a collision occurred on Tuesday evening, according to Toronto Fire Services (TFS).

The incident took place at the intersection of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

TFS reported that two vehicles were involved in the collision, resulting in five people being injured. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation. TFS has not released any further details at this time.

The intersection of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue was temporarily closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
