One man dead, another injured in overnight Langley shooting

A tragic homicide has shaken the community of Langley, British Columbia on August 2nd. The Langley RCMP were called to a residence on 200th Street and 72nd Avenue around 5:30 pm, where they discovered a deceased individual.

According to the RCMP, the victim has been identified as 38-year-old Langley resident, Ryan Saint-Ange. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the case and is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Saint-Ange’s death.

At this time, no arrests have been made and the motive for the homicide is still unknown. IHIT is appealing to the public for any information that may assist in their investigation.

The Langley community is in shock and mourning over this senseless act of violence. Many residents have expressed their condolences and are hoping for justice to be served.
