Toronto police investigating 2 separate shootings in North York

Toronto Police are currently investigating two separate shootings that occurred in North York on Monday evening.

The first shooting took place around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West. According to police, a male victim was found with gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

The second shooting occurred just over an hour later, around 7:45 p.m., in the area of Keele Street and Finch Avenue West. Police say a male victim was found with gunshot wounds and was also taken to a hospital in serious condition.

At this time, it is unclear if the two shootings are related. Police have not released any information about possible suspects or motives.

The Toronto Police Service’s Forensic Identification Unit and the Homicide Unit are both investigating the incidents. They are appealing to anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
