A Saskatoon man has been charged after a stolen vehicle rammed into two RCMP vehicles in Kindersley, causing significant damage.
According to the RCMP, the incident occurred on Sunday evening when officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on Highway 7 near Kindersley. The driver of the stolen vehicle refused to stop and instead rammed into two RCMP vehicles before fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, no officers were injured in the incident. However, both RCMP vehicles sustained significant damage and were unable to continue pursuing the stolen vehicle.
The stolen vehicle was later found abandoned in a nearby field and the driver was apprehended by officers. The 27-year-old man from Saskatoon has been charged with multiple offences, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, and evading police.
