A motorcyclist has been left with life-threatening injuries after a collision in Brampton, according to police.
The incident occurred on Monday evening at the intersection of Queen Street East and Bramalea Road. Police were called to the scene at around 7:30 p.m.
According to investigators, the motorcyclist was travelling eastbound on Queen Street East when they collided with a vehicle turning left onto Bramalea Road.
The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to a trauma centre with serious injuries. Police say their injuries are considered life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation. It has since reopened.
