The Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) Ontario is gearing up to host its 27th Annual Learning Breakfast for Cancer on November 14th, 2024. This highly anticipated event will bring together industry professionals and supporters to raise funds for cancer research and support programs.
WICC Ontario, a volunteer-based organization, has been dedicated to fighting cancer since 1997. Through various fundraising initiatives, they have raised over $15 million for the Canadian Cancer Society and other cancer-related charities.
The Learning Breakfast for Cancer is one of WICC Ontario’s signature events, and it has become a staple in the insurance industry. This year’s event will feature a keynote speaker, networking opportunities, and a silent auction. Attendees will also have the chance to hear from cancer survivors and learn about the impact of their contributions.
The event will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and will begin at 7:30 am with a networking breakfast. The keynote speaker, yet to be announced, will take the stage at 8:30 am. The event will conclude at 10:30 am, leaving attendees plenty of time to get back to their busy work schedules.
Registration for the event is now open, and tickets can be purchased on the WICC Ontario website. Early bird tickets are available until October 14th, 2024, at a discounted rate of $75. After that, tickets will be priced at $100. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting cancer research and programs.
