A woman has been airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries after a collision on Highway 410.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Saturday evening near the Derry Road exit. The woman was driving a sedan when she collided with a transport truck.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the woman was extricated from her vehicle. She was then airlifted to a trauma center with critical injuries.
The driver of the transport truck was not injured in the collision.
The highway was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene and cleared the wreckage. It has since been reopened to traffic.
