Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man, Jason. The 32-year-old was last seen on January 5th in the area of Portage Avenue and Main Street.
According to WPS, Jason is described as 5’10” tall, with a medium build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
Police are concerned for Jason’s well-being and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward. They have also released a photo of Jason in hopes that it will aid in the search.
In a statement, WPS spokesperson Constable Rob Carver said, “We are doing everything we can to locate Jason and ensure his safety. We are asking anyone who may have seen him or has any information to contact us immediately.”
The public is reminded to not approach Jason if he is seen, but to instead call the police. WPS can be reached at 204-986-6222 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
This is not the first time Jason has gone missing. In 2019, he was reported missing and was later found safe. However, WPS is taking this case seriously and is asking for the community’s help in bringing Jason home.
The search for Jason continues, and WPS is urging anyone with information to come forward. The safety and well-being of all individuals in our community is of utmost importance, and we must work together to ensure that everyone is accounted for.
If you have any information on Jason’s whereabouts, please contact WPS or Crime Stoppers. Let’s bring Jason home safely.
