A 22-year-old man is facing a total of 25 charges in connection with two separate stabbings and an assault in Oshawa, according to police.
The first incident occurred on November 28, when a 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the torso and arm. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police launched an investigation and identified a suspect, who was arrested on December 1. The accused, whose name has not been released, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Just two days later, on December 3, police responded to another stabbing in the same area. A 26-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds and was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The same suspect was arrested in connection with this incident and is now facing additional charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and assault with a weapon.
In addition, the accused is facing charges for an assault that occurred on November 30. Police say the victim in this incident was not seriously injured.
The accused is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on December 4.
