A semi-truck collided with a railway bridge on 97 Street near Yellowhead Trail in Edmonton, causing significant damage and traffic delays.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred around 9:30 am on Tuesday morning. The semi-truck was traveling southbound on 97 Street when it struck the railway bridge, causing its trailer to become wedged underneath.

Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, and the driver of the semi-truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
