Suspect wanted in sexual assault of minor on city bus: Montreal police

Montreal police are on the hunt for a suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a minor on a city bus.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on December 12, 2020, around 3:30 p.m. on a bus traveling on the 105 route in the borough of LaSalle. The victim, a 14-year-old girl, was approached by the suspect who then proceeded to sexually assault her.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, approximately 5’8″ tall, with a medium build and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black baseball cap.

Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him. They are also urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward.

The safety of our citizens, especially minors, is of utmost importance to the Montreal Police Service. We are taking this matter very seriously and are working diligently to identify and apprehend the suspect.
