A school bus that crashed on Highway 11 in Saskatchewan was fortunately not carrying any children at the time, according to the Saskatchewan RCMP.
The incident occurred on Monday morning, when the bus was travelling southbound on Highway 11 near the community of Kenaston. The bus, which was operated by a private company, was carrying only the driver and a monitor at the time of the crash.

The semi-truck driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and no charges have been laid at this time.
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure has confirmed that the highway was temporarily closed in both directions following the crash, but has since been reopened.

The safety of students is always a top priority, and the school is working closely with the private bus company to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The Saskatchewan RCMP is reminding all drivers to exercise caution and follow traffic laws, especially during the winter season when road conditions can be hazardous. They are also urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward and contact their local detachment.
As the investigation continues, the RCMP is asking for the public’s cooperation and patience. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
