An 18-year-old man from Toronto has been arrested and charged for allegedly sending explicit photos to a minor.
According to police, the accused, whose name has not been released, began communicating with the victim, who is under the age of 16, through social media. The conversations eventually turned sexual in nature, and the accused is alleged to have sent explicit photos to the minor.
The victim’s parents became aware of the situation and contacted the police, who launched an investigation. The accused was arrested on Tuesday and charged with luring a child, making sexually explicit material available to a child, and possession of child pornography.
