Man killed in crash between motorcycle, pickup in Langley: RCMP

A tragic collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Langley has resulted in the death of a man, according to the RCMP.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 248th Street. The Langley RCMP received multiple reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Upon arrival, officers found the motorcycle rider with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to the RCMP. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The intersection was closed for several hours as the RCMP’s Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) conducted their investigation. The area has since been reopened to traffic.
