Brampton, ON – Police are investigating after 22 bus shelters were found damaged in Brampton on Monday morning.
According to Peel Regional Police, the damaged shelters were discovered in various locations throughout the city, including at major intersections and along busy roads.
The extent of the damage varied, with some shelters having shattered glass panels and others having graffiti and other forms of vandalism.
Police are currently working to determine the cause of the damage and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
In the meantime, Brampton Transit has been notified of the situation and is working to repair the damaged shelters as soon as possible.
This incident has caused inconvenience for commuters who rely on these shelters for protection from the elements while waiting for their bus.

This is not the first time bus shelters in Brampton have been targeted. In 2019, a similar incident occurred where several shelters were damaged in a single night.
