Renowned chef Jefferson Alvarez has announced an exciting new pop-up dinner series for the month of October. Titled “Cacao 2.0”, the series will showcase the chef’s innovative take on traditional Latin American cuisine.
Alvarez, who is known for his creative and boundary-pushing approach to cooking, will be hosting the series at his restaurant, Cacao, located in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighborhood. The pop-up dinners will take place every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the month, starting on October 4th.
The menu for “Cacao 2.0” will feature a fusion of Latin American flavors with modern techniques and ingredients. Diners can expect to indulge in dishes such as octopus ceviche with avocado mousse, pork belly with plantain puree, and a decadent chocolate dessert with chili-infused caramel.
